Dining aboard Summer Jo is all about relaxed indulgence — fresh, nourishing meals prepared daily by our onboard cook, using quality local ingredients and a good dash of Whitsundays sunshine.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed with a platter of seasonal tropical fruit — juicy pineapple, watermelon, and local mango when in season. Days unfold with fresh muffins for morning tea, crisp salads and deli-style platters for lunch, and hearty chef-prepared dinners enjoyed under the stars. Think fragrant tikka masala with warm samosas, or a classic Aussie BBQ with grilled reef fish, herbed chicken, and colourful garden salads.
Dessert lovers are in good hands too — Summer Jo’s signature chocolate brownies, apple and berry crumble, and sticky date pudding are crowd favourites, often served warm with ice cream or custard as the sun sets over the Coral Sea.



Guests can help themselves to tea, coffee, and filtered water throughout the day, and with our BYO alcohol policy, you’re welcome to bring your favourite drinks to enjoy with meals on deck.
Whether it’s a chilled beer at sunset or a glass of bubbles over dinner, every bite and sip is made better by the ocean breeze and good company.
For those with dietary requirements, our crew happily caters to most needs with prior notice — from vegetarian and gluten-free to dairy-free or vegan preferences.
