Bring your loved ones together for an unforgettable day or overnight voyage aboard SV Summer Jo, a 100ft mega sailing yacht exploring the stunning Whitsundays. Whether it’s a milestone birthday, anniversary, reunion, or simply a rare opportunity for the whole family to connect, Summer Jo provides the perfect setting to relax, celebrate, and create lasting memories.
With spacious decks, private air-conditioned ensuite cabins, and plenty of seating, there’s space for every generation to enjoy the journey. Spend time snorkelling vibrant coral reefs, swimming in the unique ocean pool, walking along white sandy beaches, or simply soaking in the panoramic views with a drink in hand.
Our onboard cook prepares fresh, delicious meals to suit the preferences and dietary needs of your group, while our friendly, experienced crew takes care of every detail. From quiet sunset moments to lively celebrations on deck, a Family Gathering at Sea is more than just a day out – it’s an experience you’ll share and remember for years to come.
All meals are included (additional $15 pp / night for special dietary requirements)

DAY 1
On arrival a refreshing platter of seasonal tropical fresh fruit
Dinner: Flavourful Tikka Masala with fresh, crisp garden salad
Dessert: Warm apple and berry crumble, served with custard or cream
DAY 2
Breakfast: Assortment of breads bread with assorted condiments and selection of cereals with a variety of milks and various flavours of yogurt served with fresh seasonal fruit
Morning Tea: Soft and fluffy muffins
Lunch: A deli-style spread featuring:
o Assorted cold meats and cheeses
o Fresh salads
o Bread and wraps
o House-made pesto
Afternoon Tea: A gourmet antipasto platter with:
o Freshly made hummus
o Salami and chorizo, olives, dips, and crackers
Dinner: Cook’s special chilli, served with:
o Fresh guacamole
o Steamed rice
o Crispy tortilla chips
Dessert: Summer Jo’s signature chocolate brownie, topped with ice cream
DAY 3
Breakfast: Assortment of breads bread with assorted condiments and selection of cereals with a variety of milks and various flavours of yogurt served with fresh seasonal fruit
Morning Tea: Summer Jo’s famous banana bread
Lunch: Wraps with a variety of fresh fillings, including:
o Cold meats or falafel
o Crisp lettuce and fresh salads
o Pesto pastaTea, coffee, and hot chocolate are available throughout the trip in the lower saloon

To make the most of your Whitsundays adventure, please bring the following:
Small soft bag or backpack – No hard suitcases (limited storage space onboard)
Multiple swimwear – You’ll be in and out of the water often
Light clothing – Shorts, t-shirts, sundresses, and a light jacket for evenings
Beach towel & shower towel – One for the beach, one for onboard
Hat & sunglasses – For sun protection
Sunscreen – Reef-safe is preferred to protect marine life
Refillable water bottle – Stay hydrated throughout the trip
Personal toiletries – Eco-friendly products recommended
Comfortable footwear – Thongs/sandals for the boat, walking shoes for island strolls
Camera or GoPro – To capture your unforgettable moments (waterproof if possible)
BYO alcoholic drinks – Keep in cans or plastic bottles (no glass or red wine)
Light jumper or windbreaker – Evenings can be breezy
Any required medications – Please advise crew of allergies or medical needs
Dive certification card/logbook (if certified)
Current dive medical (dated within 12 months)

BRING YOUR OWN ALCOHOL & SOFT DRINK POLICY
SV Summer Jo welcomes guests to bring their own alcohol and soft drinks onboard to
enjoy during their voyage. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, we ask that
guests follow the guidelines below:
BYO Alcohol
Guests are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverages onboard.
Please bring cans or plastic bottles no glass bottles or red wine permitted
We do not supply alcohol onboard
All alcohol must be stored safely in designated areas.
BYO Soft Drinks
Guests may bring their own soft drinks, bottled water, and non-alcoholic beverages.
We encourage the use of reusable drink bottles to help reduce waste.
Additional soft drinks can be purchased onboard if required
Responsible Consumption
SV Summer Jo promotes responsible service and consumption of alcohol in line with Queensland & Australian liquor laws.
Our crew reserves the right to restrict alcohol consumption if behaviour becomes unsafe or disruptive to other guests.
Alcohol & Diving – Legal Safety Requirements
It is illegal and unsafe to scuba dive under the influence of alcohol.
Guests must not consume any alcohol before participating in water activities a dive – this includes dives scheduled later in the same day.
A minimum 8-hour alcohol-free period is required before diving. This is in accordance with the Australian Standard for Recreational Scuba Diving, which is based on safe blood alcohol levels for underwater activities. If a guest has consumed alcohol within the prohibited period before diving, they will not be permitted to dive and no refund will be given for missed dives.
Crew Discretion & Safety
The Skipper and crew have full discretion to cease alcohol service or consumption at any time to ensure guest safety and compliance with maritime regulations.
Any behaviour that risks the safety or comfort of others may result in alcohol being confiscated for the remainder of the trip.

Cancellations 60 days before departure result in a loss of 50% of the deposit.

Cancellations 30 to 60 days before departure result in loss of deposit.

Cancellation within 30 days of departure date will result in forfeit of Full Charter Price.

We highly recommend that all charterers have travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations.
