Dan and his crew are what I would call over-the-top excellent! I have taken a few different trips through the Whitsunday Islands; by far, this is the group I would go with. They’re all about creating a wonderful experience rather than seeing how many people they can pump through for profits. This is a family-owned operation, and I highly recommend supporting it. Summer Jo also offers scuba diving, snorkeling, and going to the absolute best spots. If you go with this group, I’m sure it’ll far exceed your expectations.
Awesome dive trip
I had an awesome trip. The staff were very accomadating, food was great and we did lots of diving. If you're looking for a livaboard trip from Airlie would highly recommend!
The trip that changed something in me
It was a Amazing experience. We always felt safe during this cruise and also when we were Diving with an instructor. At anytime there were crew member that helped us with everything. All in all I would recommend this sailing to everything that wants to see the great barrier reef at full beauty without all the tourists

Fantastic 2 days and nights with Summer Jo crew. Stunning place, Whitsundays Islands; our family of 5 (plus other passengers) were excellently looked after, including snorkel, dive, food and sailing safety…Couldn’t recommend more! Whitsundays + Summer Jo = Total Happiness

Just a really accommodating crew! The boat was a great size even though the boat was at full capacity. Food lovely too! And I 100% recommended the night dive!!
A perfect 2 nights
We had the best time. The views were amazing, we saw so much wildlife and the boat was spotless. The food and the crew were great too. Would definitely recommend.
Scuba cert and a weekend of fun
This trip was SO fun! I did my scuba certification and George/Dan were incredible instructors. I had the best time, great crew and great activities. Highly recommend. Also they accommodated my celiac with lots of options.
